The First Mini Miracle

It is T-minus two weeks until the food bank officially opens, but this morning the miracles began. 

While I was out-of-office visiting another local foodbank (read: gleaning wisdom rather than scouting out the opposition!) an email arrived offering us a 5” chest freezer and half-sized fridge - exactly the sized and specification we’re going to need for an operation our size!

Meanwhile our colleagues showed me around their set-up, outlined their system and showed me their 5” chest freezer. I looked at it and thought to myself ‘ooo I want one of those for us!’. Unknown to me -hours earlier- God already heard this desire and prompted the sending of an email offering me just that. 

How’s that for provision?!

‘And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.’   (Matthew 6:6-7)
